The camp site of Masanori Fukusima is in the precincts of Kasuga Shrine at Matsuo. Masanori Fukushima was a general trained by Hideyoshi from an early age, and took an active part in the battle of Shizugatake.

Masanori, Kiyomasa and Tadaoki were grand people in the Budan-group, they disliked Mitsunari.
When Toshiie Maeda died in 1599, Masanori approached Ieyasu to arbitrate with Ishida, who was attacked by seven generals in the Budan- group, and then Masanori joined the EASTERN ARMY.

Fkusima’s forces waged a fierce battle with Ukita’s forces, suffered a large number of casualties. But the WESTERN ARMY collapsed completely due to the betrayal by Hideaki Kobayakawa. At last Fukusima’s force succeeded in beating Ukita’s forces.
