If you go up the Zuiriyu crossing of the National Route 21 (Sekigahara Bypass ) to the north, you can find Okayama. Okayama is a slightly elevated mountain and you can overlook Sekigahara from the top. The top of Okayama commands a panoramic view of Mt.Nangu, Mt.Matsuo, Mt.Minamtemma, Mt.KItatemma, Mt.Minamitemma, Mt.Sasao, Nakasendo-kaido Road, Hokkoku-kaido Road, Ise-kaido Road, so It’s a good place to understand the battle very clearly. Nagamasa Kuro Shigekado Takenaka lighted a beacon at the outbreak of war for the EASTERN ARMY at this place. |

He was the eldest son of Yoshitaka Kuroda, who was a legendary strategist for Hideyoshi Toyotomi. Because Nagamasa Kuroda was a military commander with bravery and intelligence, he succeeded as chief commander of the EASTERN ARMY. His army not only shot at strong general Sakon Shima from the side, but also he planned the betrayal of Hideaki Kobayakawa and Hiroie Kikkawa. Nagamas a took an active part in the Position of Bunroku-Keicho, therefore, Mitsunari did not regard him highly.
